- 12% of natural moisturizing material is lactic acid salt. And 40% of that is amino acid. They are added for many cosmetics as a moisturizer.
It is reported that lactic acid shows high whitening effect for skin by controlling the formation of tyrosinase.
Recently, it was discovered that Alanine promotes the renewal of skin. Therefore Alanine is attracted to use for the prevention of skin aging.
Moreover, some pyruvate has the same effect.
